I will be photographing a mood that everyone experienced and that mood is fear. I recently got back from a skiing trip. Skiing is a heart trembling and adrenaline inducing sport. But your fearful for your first skiing. My little sister thought it would be cool for her to come skiing with me this past weekend. Even though I do not ski that well, I am a fairly good skier. My sister thought because she went skiing a few times before she was able to ski the peaks with me. So we skied down to the second lift and now we are on our way to the peak, when we got of the lift my sister was shaking she did not know what to do, she was a fair skier, but not good enough to skier black diamonds. She glanced at the trail and immediately stated “nope I can’t do this” and she took off her skies, got on a snow mobile and left. Skiing is scary. Even though I am not photographing skiing, I will photograph unique places and areas that would cause fear.
These images would inflict that mood on you. I would photographs dark stair cases, creepy alley ways with lit creepy lights, shadows of windows and people, medicine cabinets or broke glass. The image of the broken glass would give texture to the photograph emphasizing the shards of glass scattered about the floor. I will photograph dark staircase with faint lights illuminating the dark entrance of basements or attics. I would use artificial lights. I would photograph different parts of the day because even in the daylight, things can instill fear. So if I were to photograph in a day I would put these events in ascending order: morning to night
